Kucinich

The man would like to impeach Bush, bring universal healthcare to the U.S., end the war in Iraq, and investigate 9/11. A great man. There will have to be a civil war before he will be allowed to be President.

Here is his "Democracy Now!" interview with Amy Goodman yesterday: link

An Albany Times Union news article notes his thoughts regarding 9/11 investigation:

He also said that as chairman of a House subcommittee on domestic policy, he plans to launch an investigation of "a narrow portion" of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. He offered few details, but said his subcommittee would be looking at "a few, specific discrepancies in the public record." The 9/11 Commission that published its final report in 2004 never resolved some conflicting facts, Kucinich said. He announced his own look at 9/11 in answer to a question from an audience member. The man complained that the 9/11 Commission was too tied to the Bush administration to offer an unbiased report, and Kucinich agreed.

Finally, Kucinich for President.

Comments:
I'm just hoping Al throws his hat in the ring by the end of the year. :)

There is nothing that will make Gore run again. He is committed to global warming and he can accomplish more for that out of the White House than he can in it. If he were president he would be hampered by the politics in both house, the corruption of the special interest PACs and lobbyists who control the way Democrats and Repugnicans both vote.

Dennis is headed for a huge victory in 2008. Peace supporters who brought us 2006 are all on his team. With all other Democratic candidates backing war with Iran beforethe occupation with Iraq ends, no peace supporter could back anyone but Dennis Kucinich. Kucinich has the support of those wanting universal, not for profit, single payer health care. He also has the support of the impeachment community. I was at a meeting tonight where two popular speakers stood up and talked about Dennis Kucinich and how he is the best.

If this country decides to wake up this time and really listen to what the candidates are saying, Kucinich will be our next president. He's right. It's that simple. He's been right all along. And more importantly, he's got brains, guts and a conscience.

Al Gore is an insider. That's why he was a great VP for the Right-wing Clinton Presidency.

this country now has a legitimate left-wing, i.e. fully aware human being, as a presidential candidate -- Kucinich. He speaks for the people, and he would indeed be elected if this country had fair and free elections. Unfortunatley, the corporate fascist greedheads have all the avenues to real representation blocked, you play their game their way or you go home. The extremists in power now, having murdered 3,000 Americans on 9/11 and 100s of thousands in the Middle East, would certainly murder Kucinich as well, were he to come close to the power necessary to enact the changes he, and the majority of the American people, want.

lbhrlxyg! (that's the word verification string I was asked to input, just had to share. Soon it'll be asking us to put in auto-generated haikus.)

The last time a man like Dennis Kucinich was allowed to be President of this country was 'long about 1800. I will vote for him in a primary, I'll give money to him, but I don't want to get him killed quite yet. His value is as an outsider.

As they say in Wisconsin about Paul Wellstone: "Geez. They didn't have to kill his whole family!"

Kucinich attracts the finest people as supporters.
